POWDERLY – Jackie Donald Brown, 86, of Powderly, died Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 2:50AM at Hospice of Western KY in Owensboro. Mr. Brown was born July 12, 1937 in Muhlenberg County. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired Mechanic, and a member of Woodson Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Opal Brown; brother-in-law, Larry Wood; and sister, Yvonne Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Spears Brown; sons, Donnie (Leighanne) Brown, and Tracy (Michelle) Brown; grandchildren, Karah Brown, Derek (Megan) Brown, and Drew Brown; great-grandchild, Layla Brown; and sisters, Myrna Tatum, Linda (Ron) Welborn, Debbie (Bob) Vick, and Vanessa (Billy) Hayes.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Terry Chaney officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly.
