GREENVILLE – Ivalue McRoy, 95, of Greenville, died Friday, February 28, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. McRoy was born November 1, 1929 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and attended the Church of God. Ivalue loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a skilled craftswoman, her favorite hobbies being quilting and crocheting. When she wasn’t busy working on her newest crochet project, she passed the time working on jigsaw puzzles, and she loved to vacation in the beauty of the Smokey Mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leonard McRoy; and her daughters, Betsy Tinsley and Judy McRoy.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Pam) McRoy of Bremen, Hilda Waddell of Greenville, Teresa (Mike) Knight of Greenville, and Mary Lou Mansfield of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Timothy (Beverly) Tinsley, Rebecca (Chris) Whitmer, Chris Knight, Kecia (Scott) Blake, Kristen (Jonathan) Stapp, Heather (Brent) Kelley, and Caleb Mansfield; nine great-grandchildren, Luke Whitmer, Rachel Whitmer, Andrew Whitmer, Briley Shemwell, Hadley Stapp, Macklan Blake, Hudson Blake, Katelyn Kelley, and Karaline Kelley; and sisters, Carolyn Kebortz, and Kay Burch.
Funeral services will be Monday. March 3, at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Brent Kelley officiating and assisted by Bro. Chris Whitmer.
