DRAKESBORO – Iva Dell Knight, 84, of Drakesboro, died Monday, May 22, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mrs. Knight was born September 13, 1938 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and attended Union Chapel General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jamup Knight; parents, J.B. & Ruby Lee Gorham; son, Kevin “Jock” Knight; and brother, Roger Gorham.

She is survived by her children, Ricky (Vicki) Knight of Belton; Kim (Robert) Lindsay of Drakesboro; grandchildren, Jason (Laura), Jerrod (Tiny), Michelle, Brandy (Joey); great-grandchildren, Anna, Alli, Henry, Raelyn, Cheyenne, Jordan, Izzie, Brady, Tambra; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Lynda Henderson; sister-in-law, Debbie Gorham; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 11:00AM at Union Chapel General Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Lindsay officiating. Burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00PM Wednesday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home and 9:00AM until the time of the funeral on Thursday at the church.
