Mamaw Martin will never be forgotten... She was one of a kind. She loved her family and her church and treated everyone from church as part of her family. I met the Martin/Goff family when I was 8 years old and from that first time at Browder Gen. Baptist Church, Mamaw Martin introduced herself to us as Mamaw, and she's been that to me ever since.. She was always there for us from Christmas, Graduations, Weddings, Births and Funerals. You could always count on Mamaw and Marietta being there, no matter what the occasion. Mamaw Martin will be deeply missed, we need a million more like her in this world.. I have wished a thousand times that my Husband and myself could find a Church here where we live, like the one I grew up in because I have such fond memories, and I wish my boys could expierence that as well.... Mamaw Martin, I love you and will never forget you.... You will live in my heart forever...I still smile today when I think of her and can hear her say her favorite expression. "YOU KNOW NOT"...
