Michelle I was sorry to hear that Hollis passed.
I never got the chance to meet him but sounds like he was a very hard worker . Working in the coal mines for 16 years and driving a truck is not as easy as it sounds . He also served our country in the Navy. I would say he surely was a wonderful man .
I know his health and quality of life had not been to good for some time. I know it has been hard for everybody . At least you had some time to spend together knowing there wasn't much time left. To talk and rem inis all the good times you all had . Some are here just fine one day and then gone the next and you never get to time to tell someone you love how much they mention to you .
I know it's hard to loose someone you love so much for so many years. Its a sad time because you won't get to see him anymore .
I hope you can take comfort and peace in knowing that Hollis is not suffering and in pain anymore and that he is in heaven with God now and at peace .
God has a purpose for everyone and when it's fulfilled he calls us home . Hopefully one day we will all be reunited together in heaven again .
Sometimes you might look up in the sky at night and see the stars shining down on you but it might be the bright smile of Hollis letting you know that everything is ok now and he is at peace and happy that he is not suffering anymore . That he is watching over you and your family .
I know it's been a rough time for all your family and just know that you all are in my prayers and thoughts and will continue to be.
May God bless you and your family always and watch over you and keep you safe.
May eternal rest be granted to Hollis .
Mitch
