CENTRAL CITY – Hobert Deward Stewart, 94, of Central City, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 9:15AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Stewart was born December 26, 1922, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired truck driver with A & G Egg Farm and attended Sharon General Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Mark) Cook of Powderly; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters Jean (James D.) Edwards of Central City, Wyvonna Webb of Chicago, IL, and Wanda Robinson of Chicago, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, June 2, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. John Culbertson officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
