I am very saddened to have heard of Mrs. Winchester's passing. She was a loving, compassionate, FUNNY woman of God who loved the staff at RWT as well as all of the residents. She was the eyes that we couldn't be sometimes, as she would check on each of the residents and let us know if anything was wrong. She lived her life for the Lord, and all who knew her, saw this in her daily life. My favorite memories were helping with her 100th birthday party, as well as taking her to another employees wedding. She will be greatly missed by so many, what a legacy she leaves behind! We will miss you dearly Mrs. Winchester ("like the gun!!!")

I remember Ms. Helen from Ridgewood when my grandmother was there. At that time, my grandmother had suffered a stroke and could no longer talk, but each day when one of us would wheel her around the building, she and Ms. Helen were always so glad to see one another. They would smile and pat one another's cheeks and hold hands. I believe that was Ms. Helen's last ministry; she still reached out and shared the love of God with those who were sick and lonely. She was a very sweet lady and I will always remember her fondly.

Mrs. Winchester was our dearest friend. We helped to weed her garden, wash her dishes after a plentiful table she cooked, and even now we sleep under blankets that she and I made. One night she called us afraid after hearing a terrible racket in her attack, and we got out of bed and came to her. I sat holding her hands while my husband checked it out. Turned out to be a tennis racket that fell from it's nail and bounced down the stairs! She laughed and laughed. Many times we would come to visit and find her folded forward on her lap praying for folks she didn't even know. Oh, we loved her so very much. When we moved and didn't get to see her as we would have liked, we never forgot her. There are pictures of her in our bedroom that I am so glad she let us copy. Our angel has finally flown home. Yet, we will see her again.
