CENTRAL CITY- Helen Marie Edwards, 90, of Central City died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Edwards was born on October 29, 1927 in Morehead. She was a member of Woodson Baptist Church. Mrs. Edwards loved life to the fullest and loved spoiling all her great grandkids. She is preceded in death by her son, Marcus Lynn Edwards; spouse, Buck Edwards. She is survived by her sons, Bucky (Connie) Edwards, Shawn Edwards; daughter, Susan Neal; grandchildren, Shannon (Gary) Lile, Shane Edwards, Tonya (Troy) Boggess, Leslie (Fred) Robinson, Hollie (Kyle) Payton, Jennifer Neal; great-grandchildren, Cameron Lile, Dillon Lile, Austin Lile, Kaylee Edwards, Chase Edwards, Jaylin Edwards, Christin Boggess; Trenton Robinson, Gage Robinson, Kaden Robinson, Kyler Payton, Mattox Painter, Rhyatt Rolley, Warryn Rolley; great-great grandchild, Cruz Flener; sister, Aletha Gootee. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City. Every time I walk by your house on 3rd, I look and half-expect to see you puttering around in the yard that you always kept so beautiful or to see you sitting on the porch so I could stop and talk to you! Whenever I make tea, I follow your tip to press the teabags when removing them. You were a great friend to me. I wish you had kept in touch after moving because I really missed you!
