BROWDER – Hazel “Dean” Ferrell, of Browder, died Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 1:30AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was of the Baptist faith, and was the owner of Dean’s House of Style. She was very artistic. She had a talent for decorating homes, decorating for Christmas, and doing floral arrangements. She enjoyed going to estate and yard sales and finding good deals. She had a lot of fun attending country music concerts. Her favorite country artists were Gary Allan, Tanya Tucker, and Loretta Lynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ferrell; parents, Finus and Albert Drake; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Ferrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Matt Adams officiating, assisted by Bro. Eddie Fleming. Burial in Allens Chapel Cemetery.
