GREENVILLE – Hattie Yonts Rust, 85, of Greenville, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 8:45PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Ms. Rust was born April 26, 1933, in Rosewood, KY. Ms. Rust was a former employee at GE in Owensboro and a homemaker for many years. She lived many years in Rosewood and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and attending church. Ms. Rust was a devout Christian and a member of the Jernigan’s Chapel United Methodist Church near Greenville. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neville Rust; her parents Burgess and Lady Mae Petrie Yonts; and brothers Teddy, Larry, and Thomas Yonts. Ms. Rust is survived by her daughters, Elaine Calvert of Scottsville, KY and Roxanne Todd of Greenville; sister Carolyn (Paul) Hankins of Rosewood; three grandchildren who she loved dearly, Patrick Wagoner of Scottsville, Kelly Todd (Chris) Flemetakis of Bainbridge Island, Seattle, WA, and Dr. Lance Todd of Wesley Chappel, FL; two great-grandchildren, Stefan and Landon Flemetakis; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 2:00PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, with Bro. Steve Latham and Bro. Gaithel Jenkins officiating.
