Harold Morton Koon 9/20/2008 BREMEN — Harold Morton Koon, 80, of Bremen, died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1928, in Muhlenberg County, was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired assistant superintendent for Peabody Coal Co. at the Sinclair Mine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Koon. Survivors include daughters, Rhonda Kay (Terry) Noffsinger and Sherry Brown, both of Bremen; grandchildren, Spenser Noffsinger and Hannah Peanut Brown; and brother, Rondal Woodall of Greenville. Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bremen. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
