BREMEN – Halbert E. Jones, 80, of Bremen, died Friday, February 13, 2026 at 6:40PM at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Mr. Jones was born on June 5, 1945 in Muhlenberg County. He was a Coal Miner for 22 years and a Carpenter. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He enjoyed horse racing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Jones; son, Timothy Jones; and parents, Paul and Mayme Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Jeffery) Piper; grandchildren, Chelsea (Clay) Sullivan, and Dylan Geary; great-grandchildren, Willow Sullivan, Jaxon Sullivan, and Josie Sullivan; brother, Ronnie Jones; and sisters, Roberta Harris, and Anna Dean Thomason.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM and Wednesday after 8:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
