GREENVILLE – Goldie Jean Beasley, 72, of Greenville, died Monday, April 15, 2024 at 8:28PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Beasley was born June 2, 1951 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Faith Apostolic Church in Greenville. She was married to her husband Locky for 53 years, faithfully serving her church as a Pastor’s wife for 40 years and as a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. She loved vacationing with her family in the Smokies. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Landrum; father, Jo Bill Landrum; eight brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Locky W. Beasley; sons, Locky W. Beasley Jr. (Elisha), and Joseph M. Beasley; daughter, Shannon D. Whitely (Jay); grandchildren, Warren Beasley, Elisabeth Beasley, Braxten Beasley, Jaylee Whitely, Ryan Beasley, Emily Shemwell (Wyatt), Madison Beasley, Nathaniel Beasley, Neela Beasley, and Kacelynn Beasley; great-grandchildren, Raliegh Jones, Blakely Rolley, Marileigh Shemwell, Easton Whitely, and Winston Whitely; sisters, Shirley Piper, Mary Warner, and Lisa Thacker; brothers, Donnie Landrum, Roger Landrum, and Terry Landrum.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Joseph Beasley officiating and Bro. Locky Beasley assisting. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
