BELTON – Gloria A. Day, 69, of Belton, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Day was born September 11, 1949, in Birmingham, AL. She was a retired school teacher and taught school for 35 years. She was a member of Livermore General Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also president of the Women’s Ministry Board. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Kay Ashworth. She is survived by her husband, Bro. Roy Day; son Orbie (Amy) Day of Indiana; daughter Misty (Chad) Roberson of Belton; grandchildren Jonah Day, Sidney Day, Owen Day, Charly Roberson, and Rae Roberson; sister Barbara (David) Moore of Beechmont; nieces Christina (Clay) Taylor and Kelley Hobgood; nephew Jack Campbell, and great-nephews Caden Taylor and Landen Hobgood. Funeral services will be Friday, February 15, 2019, at 1:00PM at Mud River Union General Baptist Church, with Bro. Roy Day officiating, assisted by Bro. David Youngblood. Burial in Mud River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral and Friday from 8-11AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home.
