Glenn Jenkins left a message on February 15, 2019:
Dear Roy, I just learned that your precious wife, Gloria, had passed away. I am so sorry to hear this. It is such a great loss. Gloria was on the women's board when Linda and I were missionaries. She was always very supportive and kind every time we were privileged to meet her. We remember her and honor her service and love for us and the work of the Lord and our denomination. I remember the many times we have shared ministry and fellowship together in the days we were in the Long Creek Association and was glad to see you at the Union Association meeting last spring. I want you to know that we send our love and prayers to you and your family today and in the days ahead. I may not make the funeral service, but please know that I will be with you in spirit. My Brother, I love and appreciate you. May God's presence and grace be great for you and strengthen you today.
Blessings, Glenn Jenkins

So sorry to hear of Gloria's passing. You have our deepest sympathy. She and I rode together to some college classes in Owensboro when we were working on our Masters and our older son played baseball with Orby.
