GREENVILLE – George Lee Rust, 83, of Greenville, died Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 8:42AM at his home. Mr. Rust was born April 13, 1935, in Muhlenberg County. He was a machinist at TVA and a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Rust; and parents Elmer and Myrtle Rust. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Conway Rust; sons Michael (Sherry) Rust and Danny (Tanya) Rust; daughters Roxane (Lynn) Randolph and Lisa (Richard) Robinson; grandchildren Michael Rust, Jennifer Flener, Amber Rust, Joshua Fitzhugh, Jared Rust, Daniel Rust, Darin Randolph, Jennifer Gunterman, Rebecca Robinson, and Emily Robinson; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 2:00PM at Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Greenville, with Bro. Roger Wright officiating. Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00AM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
