BELTON – Gary Edward Pointer, 69, of Belton, died Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calhoun. Mr. Pointer was born in Louisville on June 13, 1957. He retired as a logger from Baize & Sons. He was an outdoorsman, avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Pointer; and parents, Louis and Martha Pointer.

He is survived by his companion, Tabatha McKinney; daughter, Lori (Steven) Beals; son, Caleb (Sierra) Pointer; grandchildren, Hunter Beals, Tyler Beals, Samantha Head, Greyson Pointer, and Sylvie Pointer; great-grandchildren, Emorie Head, Wylder Beals, and one on the way, Birdee Beals; brothers, Louis (Anna) Pointer, and Jamie (Emily) Pointer; sisters, Dixie Anderson, and Christy Pointer.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 29, 2026 at 1:30PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Robert Lindsay officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
