POWDERLY – Freda Mae Lovell, age 85, of Powderly, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her residence.  Freda was born August 8, 1938, in Muhlenberg County and was homemaker and member of Mercer Baptist Church.  She loved to watch KY basketball and baseball; loved quilting.  Freda also loved being with her grandkids, great grandkids and attending Mercer Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Ray Lovell; sons, Billy and Randy Lovell; parents, Claudie Clemons and Beulah Brown Kostka; brother, Charles Clemons and sisters, Mary Marie and Catherine Clemons.

She is survived by her daughters Brenda (Bobby) Buchanan and Wanda (Chuck) Luckett; 5 grandkids; 21 great grandkids and 7 great-great grandkids.

Funeral service will be Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Ron Noffsinger officiating at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City.  Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
