CENTRAL CITY- Frank Huddleston, 91, of Central City died at his residence on Saturday, December 14, 2024. He was born on November 9, 1933 in Greenville, Kentucky. He served his country in the Army. He went to work for Kentucky Utilities until he opened his own business, Huddleston Electric, where he served our community for 50 years. He was a faithful servant of God. He loved the Lord, his family, and community. He was a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and he was a witness to everyone he came in contact with. He recently celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary, before he lost the love of his life, Gynon. In his younger years, he played basketball for Central City High School. He loved to fish, hunt, and camp and he especially loved the Kentucky Wildcats. His wife, children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joys of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gynon Huddleston, and his parents, John and Annie Huddleston, and his sister, Ruby Lile.
Survivors include his children, Terry Huddleston (Lahoma Austin), Judy (Dennis) Laycock, Johnny Huddleston (Vernon Smith); grandchildren, Terra Huddleston, Trista Huddleston (DeLacy Groves), Tia Huddleston, Tanner (Mallory) Huddleston, Scotty (Amanda) Morehead, Tracy Morehead, Camron (Marla) Laycock, Emily (Jeff) Jones; great grandchildren, Victoria White, Bayleigh and Braxton Hearld, Jayden Owens, Jase and Juliana West, Linkyn, Lyric and Maxwell Huddleston, Andrew Strader, J.T. Mercer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Dr. Chase Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
