Floyd ‘Pee Wee’ Sorrels Jr. Published: Sunday, December 13, 2009 12:00 AM CST BROWDER — Floyd ‘Pee Wee’ Sorrels Jr., 53, of 327 Kentucky 70 East, Browder, died at 1:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at his home. He was born July 19, 1956, in Cook County, Ill., and was a member of Pentecostal Faith Church. He was a self-employed painter, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Muhlenberg County Democratic Executive Committee and a member of Masonic Lodge 673 in Central City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Ray Sorrels Sr. and Lillian Sorrels, and a brother, Edward Sorrels. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Brown Sorrels of Browder; two sons, Jewell Sorrels (Romona Camplin, friend of the family) of Greenville; Bobby (Dawn) English of Browder; three daughters, Wendy (Josh) Walker of Belton, Lisa Adcock of Belton and Lila (Tony) Ford of Bremen; grandchildren Lucas Adcock, Angelica Adcock, Bethany English, Christina Ball, Clayton Walker, Abbie Walker, Jewellia Sorrels, Leah Madison Ford, Audrey Ford and Atlanta Walker; a brother, Lloyd Sorrels of Belton; and a sister, Donna Harrell of Belton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donnie Neal and the Rev. Mike DeArmond officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City.
