Bob and Mary Geddings left a message on June 6, 2011:
Our prayers are with all the family. We rented a house from Mr. & Mrs. Meredith while Bob was stationed in Korea with the Army. She was a wonderful friend to my son and I. Also when we moved back to Greenville while Bob was in Viet Nam the same time their son Jim was there.. She was such a caring person. We lost touch with her with our many moves but I thought about her often.

Wanda and boys, so sorry for your loss! I was looking at the Obituaries and saw Meredith and opened it up to see if it was the only Mrs. Meredith I knew. I can remember going to her house on 2nd st with John Mark and her cooking for us or getting after us. I will be praying for your family!

So terribly sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. A week or so ago was thinking of Mrs. Meredith and all the older generation who lived on N. Second ST. when iwe were growing-up . Riding down that street is like a stroll down memory lane.

She was a very special person. I enjoyed her so much when she worked with our MYF . She did whatever she could to make our youth director's job easier. She was a dedicated Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. Cherish your memories that you have had with her. Love, Charlotte, Mary Jane, and Pat
