Ferrell Christmas CENTRAL CITY — Ferrell Christmas, 68, of Central City died at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1941, in Todd County, a member of Cleaton Pentecostal Church and retired from both his job as fire chief for 17 years and the Central City Street Department. Survivors include his wife, Mae Mayes Christmas of Central City; a son, Ricky (Linda) Deason of Central City; a daughter, April (Steve) Brooks of Todd County; four grandchildren, Justin Deason and Laura Beth Deason, both of Central City, Anthony (April) Roe of Sharon Grove and Melissa Harper of Kentucky; five great-grandchildren, Dustin Roe, Miranda Roe, Shawn Watkins, Derin Harper and Marissa Harper; two brothers, David (Edna) Christmas of Clifty and Charles (Cheryl) Christmas of Elkton; and a sister, Dorothy (David) Brewer of Dawson Springs. Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, officiated by the Rev. Don Piper. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Central City. Visitation after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
