Ferrell was a good man, I remember when I worked one summer for the city and he would joke around with me, he also married my sister and her husband in his living room after getting home from work, he will be missed!

I first met Ferrel Christmas about 10 years ago and a finer person I have never known!! He was a big man, with an even bigger heart!!! I had the pleasure of ATV riding with him and of course hearing his countless jokes and stories. Trail riding and hunting his dogs was two of his favorite things. Our community has lost a man of dedication and service to his community and to family & friends!!! I feel blessed to have known him. We rode together Friday night and Ferrel was in great spirits and was having a ball, as he always did. I thank God that I was able to spend the last few hours of his life with him and I will cherish all the memories I have of him as long as I live. My thoughts and prayers are with Mae & Ricky and the rest of the family also! Rest in Peace my Friend!!!

May God comfort the Christmas family during this time, may he heal your hurt and comfort your heart. Ferrell was always kind and had the knack for making a person feel special. We will always have the fondest memories of him. I am very proud to have known him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mae and Ricky, Our thoughts are with you. I regret not being able to be there. I will never forget my memories of Ferrell. You were all like family to me. I miss the days of shooting sporting clays and the laughs we shared. All of the good times at the Fire Department, they seem like yesterday. Rest in peace old friend.

My fondest memory of Chief Christmas was not only from working with him at the fire department, although there are many fond memories of those times, the moments that have come to mind during this time of sorrow would have to be of hunting with him and the smiles he brought to our face while joking about the breakfast that he cooked. To Mae, Ricky and the entire family my deepest sympathy, you are in my thoughts and prayer. Chief will be greatly missed. With all our love Richard, Tonya, Christopher and JT.
