Dad, What are the words that can describe my heart at nearly four in the morning. Since you left us, nothing remains the same. Our hearts are sorely broken. Mom broke our hearts nearly 23 yrs ago. Now, once again, after mending, they have been shattered. You were our Patriarch. Now, we seem so lost in this sad world named Earth. Dad, there are no words that can truly say how deep the pain has been, even during your passing. No one that has ever expirenced, loving someone like you, has no real clue of pain. Dad, we sat by your bedside, as we did mom, we held your precious hands for hours, while the pain was so heave in our hearts. Your struggles in death, were more than we thought we could bear. One thing I know, I certainly have the choice of going where you will be on that Great Judgment day. I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Dad, I do so plan to meet you in Heaven. You have been our cherished love here on Earth. Dad, I told you we would meet by the river, I still have that plan. One thing for sure Dad, since you have had to go. much earlier than we were ready to let you go, it is much pleasing to know, you are finaly resting by mom. I'm an extended family member. I didn't know Ezra, but I do know that he was a good man who lived a full life. He must have been, for so many people to love him and grieve for him. He was an inspiration to many people, and all those who knew him should be (and no doubt are) proud to have known him so well. I only wish that I'd had the opportunity to meet him myself before he died. This fine man will never be forgotten, nor should he be. He touched so many people's lives in such positive ways. That is a legacy that will live on forever.

I thought the world of Papaw Bro.Ezra Miller I married into the family 23 years ago and Bro.Miller was so kind and treated me like I was his own. I enjoyed every moment we played music together. I sat under his preaching many times and learned about Jesus. Oh the stories he could tell and I loved to hear the old stories from when he was young. I laugh still yet today of the first impression he had of me when he first met me and what he thought I was and I will leave it at that. But oh how I grew to love him when my blood grandpa and grandma passed on ,Bro. Miller became my papaw. I will greatly miss you and think of you often and look forward to playing music with you again in that heavenly choir. .
