DRAKESBORO – Essie Marie Richardson, 82, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, December 8,2011 at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1929 in Muhlenberg County, was a homemaker and a member of the Ark of Safety Church in Beech Creek, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Richardson and a son, Allen Richardson. Survivers include her sons, Michael Richardson, Ricky Richardson and William Richardson all of Drakesboro, her daughters, Lois Riner of Illinois, Debrah Garrett and Sonia Oglesby both of Drakesboro, fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, conducted by Rev. Kenny Taylor with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Drakesboro. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00 PM at Saturday after 8:00 AM at the funeral home.
