Erdine Agee BEECH CREEK — Erdine Agee, 94, of Beech Creek died at 5:21 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at her home. She was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Beech Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Agee; three daughters, Flora Lee Agee, Margarett Shutt and Ruth Collier; a son, Bob Agee; and grandchildren Kim Young, Donna Renfrow, Mike Agee, Jimmy Agee, Joe Agee and Ricky Agee. Survivors include a son, Al Agee of Greenville; daughters Margie Renfrow of Atlanta, Madeline (Emmitt) Moore of Henderson, Sue (Everett) Stone of Victoria, Va., Betty (Bob) Moore and Helen (Rodney) Vaughn, all of Lewisburg, Henretta Smith and Kay (Jerry) Smith, all of Evansville, Sharon (Jerry) Wilson of Beechmont and Teresa (Vernon) Perry of Greenville; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Agee of Central City; 27 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roger Wright officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Galyen. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
