GREENVILLE – Emma Louise Walker, 86, of Greenville, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 7:21PM at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Ms. Walker was born in Greenville on August 27, 1939 to the late Jim and Emma Lou Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of Lone Star General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winford (Bennie) Walker in 2010.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Jimmy) Rolley of Greenville, and Connie (Dwayne) Lax of Buchanan, TN. Four grandchildren, Holly (Jason) Dillihay of Drakesboro, Lee (Sally) Jordan of Henderson, Craig (DeeGee) Lax of Buchanan, TN, and Jennie (Ben) Duvall of Greenville. Great-grandchildren, Colin Doss, Winnie Jordan, Albert Jordan, Bennie Duvall, and Everett Duvall.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Tony Shanks officiating, assisted by Bro. Arno Kranz. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 11AM at the funeral home until time of services.
