Emma Jean Hill Fleming Published: Saturday, July 25, 2009 12:15 AM CDT DRAKESBORO — Emma Jean Hill Fleming, 79, of 5715 Kentucky 70 East, Drakesboro, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009, at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Muhlenberg County. She worked at Sears & Roebuck and was a member of Drakesboro United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee and Augusta Mae Hill; her husband, Harold G. Fleming; a daughter, Deborah Jean Ewing; a son, Maurice Fleming; and a granddaughter, Tara M. Faith. Survivors include a daughter, Kelley A. Fleming of Drakesboro; three sons, Harold G. (Judith) Fleming Jr. of Ashland, Jeffery L. Fleming of Colquitt, Ga., and James A. (Loretta) Fleming of Drakesboro; a brother, James (Ann) Hill of Owensboro; two sisters, Elizabeth (Ray) Herstek of Ashland City, Tenn., and Velma J. Cottrell of Drakesboro; grandchildren Candace English, Sarah (Jay) Milstead, Joel Ewing, Tony Fleming, Quinn Fleming and Tyler Faith; and great-grandchildren Andrew and Tucker Barnes and Tainey and Walker Milstead. Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Drakesboro United Methodist Church, with Brother Bob Milburn officiating. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
