GREENVILLE – Elsie Mae Brumley Mullen Jackson, 87, of Greenville, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at 1:50PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was born April 22, 1925 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Greenville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ethel Brumley; daughter Nancy Mullen; first husband John Henry Mullen; second husband Clyde Jackson; two great-grandchildren; brother Zechalee Brumley; and sisters Emogene Brumley, Lucille Gibson, and Shirley Cartwright. Survivors include her sons, Bobby (Dorothy) Mullen of Russellville, James (Debbie) Mullen of Greenville, and John (Jean) Mullen of Greenville; daughter Devonna (Roy) Covington of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters Ruby Smith, Sarah Piper, Wilma Stanley, Donna Hardison, Judy Mercer, and Barbara Beliles. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Johnny Kelton officiating, assisted by Bro. Richard Allen. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
