Edna Marie Poe CENTRAL CITY — Edna Marie Poe, 87, of Central City, died Sunday July 4, 2010, at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Greenville. She was born May 18, 1923 in Muhlenberg County. Mrs. Poe was employed by Austenal/Homet Corp., a manufacturer of airplane parts, for 30 years. She was known for her independence and fiery temperament. She was much respected and beloved for her generosity and selfless service to her family. She was preceded in death by a niece, Rosemary (Vincent) Bolton; sisters, Golda Rager and Rachel Vincent; and brothers, William Stobaugh, Walton Stobaugh and Shelby Gene Stobaugh. Her survivors include nieces, Glenda Gail (Kenny) Pendley, Vivian E. Stobaugh, Pamela Kay Stobaugh, Sandra R. (Henry) Reynolds, all of Central City; a great niece, Shelby Nicole Reynolds of Paducah; great nephews, Billy Vincent, of Greenville, Nathan Henry Reynolds of Central City; and a sister-in-law, Margie Lucille Sumner. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bremen.
