SOUTH CARROLLTON – Edna Lee Heady, 90, of South Carrollton, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 2:15AM at her residence. Mrs. Heady was born April 17, 1935, in South Carrollton. She was a CNA/Med Tech at Sparks Nursing Center, and was a member of South Carrollton Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Heady; parents, Arthur and Elsie Rager; several siblings; grandson, Kevin Wagner; and great-grandson, Michael Wagner.

She is survived by her children, Darlene Shoemaker, Diane (Kenny) Gunn, Lynne Osborne (Allen Vincent), and Timmy (Kim) Heady; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 10:00AM at Pine Grove Cemetery in South Carrollton, with Bro. Jerry Eades officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Mrs. Heady was such a kind and wonderful person. I always enjoyed working with Edna at Sparks Nursing Home. My parents always felt comfortable when Edna was on duty because she was so dependable with her work. Rest in Peace and sending prayers for comfort to her family. Marlin Sparks

What a fine person she was....SANDRA WHITORTH...
