Eddie, I am still in shock and disbief of your passing. I fondly remember going to Kentucky during the summers to visit Grandpa Childress and having you come over to stay. We were always laughing and goofing around. I will always cherish those summers. You were always so kind and sweet to me. I know that you are in a better place. I will keep Angela, Austin, Stetson, and the rest of your family in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Loretta I am so sorry for your loss and pain. I wish I was close by to give you a hug and to personally tell you how very sorry I am. I know you are a strong woman and that God will comfort you during this very difficult time. Love, Sharon

I'm going to miss you, I enjoyed our conversations we had, and I will always treasure our moments we shared together. I will never forget you taking me on my first deer hunt, and helped me with holding the gun at the old home place. You always treated me like your little brother. I appreciate your kindness toward me and my family, I know I went away but you and your family were always in my thoughts. I will be praying for your family during their difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Eddie, I was stunned and heartbroken to learn that you had passed away. You were a sweet boy who grew into a strong loving man. I have so many memories of you as a child and a man. Every summer I spent at least two weeks back home with daddy and Robert, and always spent time with Loretta and Eddie. After you were married, I so loved and enjoyed the times I came and spent with you, Angela, and the boys. I will always have those wonderful memories of such happy times. My love, thoughts and prayers are with Angela, Austin, and Stetson during this your time of loss. Loretta, this is such a sad painful time just know that I am here for you, my thoughts, prayers and love are with you also. Rob and I are here for all of you. Love Aunt Nancy and Robert

Eddie, I was shocked when Mom called me with the news of your passing. It is sad to say but I think we have only seen each other twice in the last 25 years and we spent the most time together at Grandpa Childress's funeral. Although what brought us together was such a sad time, we had the best time catching up, laughing and acting just plain silly, I know grandpa would not have minded that we were having a good time. I do not know Angela, Autin, or Stetson but my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. Aunt Loretta I am so sorry for your loss and do not have any words that can comfort you in your time of pain and loss. I remember when we lived with granny and grandpa we spent lots of time with you and Uncle Jamie at your house. My love and prayers are with you and I will keep Eddie along with Uncle Jamie granny and grandpa in my thoughts. Eddie this is not good-bye, I'll see you later.... Love Teresa
