GRAHAM – It is with heavy hearts and grieving souls that we give up a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Eddie Dewayne Childress, 45, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was a very kind and giving man who was taken too soon from those who loved him. He was a great provider and a wonderful dad. He loved his children more than life itself. He will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Eddie was born September 10, 1967 in Muhlenberg County. He was self-employed as the owner and operator of A & E Wood Products. He loved fishing, hunting, and Nascar races. He shared the love for basketball with his sons. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Childress; brother Larry Wayne Ward; and sister Debra Hill. He is survived by his heartbroken wife of 21 years, Angela Jarvis Childress; two beautiful sons Austin Dewayne Childress and Stetson Levi Childress, both of Graham; mother Loretta Childress of Graham; sister Peggy (David) Gregory of Berea; and nieces and nephews who he loved more like brothers and sisters: Megan Hill, Holly Warren, Sonyia Ehlschide, Jeff Ward, Matthew Hill, David Gregory, Shane Gregory, and Herbert Ward. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Alton Rolley and Rev. Terrance Minor officiating. Burial in Graham Hill Cemetery.
