Earline Drake CENTRAL CITY — Earline Drake, 87, of Central City died Monday, July 27, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville. She was born July 8, 1922, in Muhlenberg County, was a member of Woodson Missionary Baptist Church and was a housewife. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Doris (C.D.) Whitmer of Bowling Green, Janice (David) Willis of Madisonville and Linda (Donald) Wilkins of Central City; three sisters, Edna Mae Amos of Newburgh, Ind., Anna Jean Fulkerson of Greenville and Betty Lou Foster of Greenville; one brother, Wilmouth Carl Dukes of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Tony Whitmer, Bryan Whitmer, Blaine Whitmer, Diana Anderson, James Willis, Vanessa McGhee, Dennis Wilkins and Matthew Wilkins; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel C. Drake; parents, Joseph Samson Columbus and Hatti Mae Harper Dukes; three sisters, Mary Agnes Fulkerson, Loretta Moore and Lorene Waldon; and 10 brothers, Joe Franklin Dukes, Jearl Barnett Dukes, James Henry Dukes, Charles William Dukes, Jerry Dukes, Walker Dukes, Herman Dukes, Lenard Dukes, Cleman Dukes and Waldon Harper. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with the Rev. Donald Wilkins officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City.
