WHITE PLAINS – Earl Charles Kipling, 91, of White Plains, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 3:41PM in White Plains. Mr. Kipling was born January 6, 1934, in Muhlenberg County. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kipling; brothers and sisters, Rhonda Kimmel, Howard Kipling, Merle Barnes, Margaret Christ, Alice Steed, Evelyn McPherson, and Robert Kipling; and nephews, Richard Kipling, and Ed Kipling, and niece, Vicky Clark.
Mr. Kipling was a U.S. Army veteran, serving for 5 1/2 years. He achieved a perfect score in military marksmanship. He was a master mechanic in the military, working on tanks and jeeps. He also was very skilled at working on farm equipment. Mr. Kipling was a Master Mason from the Hazel Creek Lodge for 66 years; he was a member of the Scottish Rite for 60 years; he was a Shriner at the Rizpah Temple for 59 years; and he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Robards; companion, Debbie Putman; nieces and nephews, Charles “Kip” Robards, Timothy Robards, Carl Kimmel, Pamela Steed, Trudy Christ, Craig Christ, Sharon Ashby, Kevin McPherson, Tom McPherson, and Robert Kipling.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 28, 2025, at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with David Anderson officiating, assisted by Michael Putman. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
