Doyle William Piper Jr. Published: Thursday, September 24, 2009 12:40 AM CDT GREENVILLE — Doyle William Piper Jr., 47, of Greenville died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born June 9, 1962, in Palos, Ill. He was owner of Loney Video and Tanning and a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Ann Howard Piper of Greenville; a son, Joshua Piper of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Sierra Brooke Piper of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Mallory Ann Bivins of Greenville; his father, Doyle William Piper Sr. of Greenville; a sister, Gayra Piper of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Addy Bivens and Colton Bivens of Greenville. He was uncle to O.J. and Wendy Spoon and great-uncle to Alexsie and Braden Spoon. Other survivors include his aunts and uncles, Patsy and Jimmy Leach and family, Linda and Alex Sosa and family, Sandra and Troy Blankenship and family, Mike and Dorothy Bruce and family, Billy and Grace Bruce and family, Aunt Sue Piper and family and Aunt Evelene Divine and family; his grandmother, Norma Kennedy of Greenville; and a son-in-law, Erin Bivins of Greenville. Services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Brother Roy Loney officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
