Dorothy Dean Beasley GREENVILLE — Dorothy Dean Beasley, 78, of 2415 Kennedy Brasher Road, Greenville, went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born Feb. 18, 1931, in Christian County. She was a homemaker and member of Church of God in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lily Butler; and a brother, Charles Butler. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, William David Bill Beasley of Greenville; two brothers, William Gaither Butler and Billy Butler, both of Colcord, W.Va.; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Charles Edwards officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mitch Davis. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
