SACRAMENTO – Doris Rainwaters, 75, of Sacramento, died Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 10:14PM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Ms. Rainwaters was born March 13, 1951 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and a member of Brier Creek Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, spending time with animals – especially dogs, and being outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar “Frosty” Rainwaters; and son, David Rainwaters.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Todd) Whittinghill; grandchildren, Shannon (Blake) Sparks, Ashley Whittinghill, and Jacob Whittinghill (Camry); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Wyatt; two nieces; and two nephews.

Funeral visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
