Doris was one of a kind , First met her at Duvalls chapel, but did not get to know her well until she came to court yard and became friends with mom. I’m so thankful mom had Doris for a friend, they had some great times together, and both ended up at Long term care. Doris would stop and ask about mom all the time , she was a very happy, jolly good Christian women . She told me a few weeks ago she was going to heaven, and I know she is there having the time of her life. So sorry for your loss ,she will be greatly missed by many.

To the family of Doris: Just want to thank each of you for sharing this special lady with me. She has been such a blessing to me over the years. She loved all of you very much. She was such a witness for the Lord and the Lord used her even in Long Term at the hospital. If you are saved and know Jesus as your personal Savior, you will have the promise of seeing her again. Only you can answer that question? Prayers for everyone in the days ahead. After losing both of my parents the only thing I have to say is to keep the memories alive. Talk about her often and share the memories with the little ones. Love you guys!

Ladonna, Scott, and family, Talk about a life well-lived, Doris and the memories she left for all of us to treasure, are a testament to her powerful Christian witness and her boundless faith. Her tender and loving ways, her stories that captured the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of visiting with her, her optimism no matter the circumstances, and her humor that could always light up a room are just a few qualities of this beautiful spirit we called saDoris. Love and prayers to her family and others who were close to her. While we all know positively where she will live eternally, she will still be greatly missed.
