Even as a child I remembered his smile and laughter and now with his passing I cherish it. There are not words enough to pay tribute to someone who was and always will be the best example of what a good man is. My father's bond and brotherly love for my Uncle Don will be there for all eternity and I know their reunion is so joyous. RIP Uncle Don

Loved Uncle Don so much. When I lived close to him we used to race each other on our shared birthday to be the first one to wish the other a happy birthday. He and Aunt Jan were always so kind to me and joked that I should have been theirs because of my red hair...Don and I are sending our love and prayers to you all.

Don was our teammate on the Whiting High School Basketball team in 1957,58,59. Then he worked at the American Maize Co. in Hammond with Bob Punak and myself as we all went to college. By hard work, dedicated to learning, he rose 10 levels to be plant manager. But best of all was tailgating at Purdue football games as our kids attended Purdue. He and his wife did a great job raising their three boys. The WHS Class of 1959 will truly miss Don.
