ERIN, TN – Derrick William Harris, 41, of Erin, TN, died Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 2:15PM at his residence. Mr. Harris was born May 17, 1983, in Greenville. He was a handyman, a self-proclaimed “Jack of all trades, master of some.” He enjoyed the outdoors, loved gardening, and tending to his small farm. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Monie Harris; and paternal grandparents, J.W. and Janet Harris.

He is survived by his son, Aiden Harris of Clarksville, TN; parents, Joe (Kim) Harris of Owensboro and Deborah (Alvin) Lanier of Clarksville, TN; maternal grandmother, Mary Harris of Madisonville; brothers, Travis (Nicole) Lanier, Colin (Alyssa) Harris, Tyler (Kaitie) Harris, and Eric (Jana) Montgomery; and sisters, Andrea (Brandon) Stone and Alyssa Montgomery.

Still hard to believe. This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. Sad, hurt, quilt...not sure how to feel. You definitely had your ups and down.
