CENTRAL CITY – Denny Joe Shepherd, 51, of Central City, died Monday, March 4, 2024 at 7:11PM at Continue Care Hospital in Madisonville. Mr. Shepherd was born February 13, 1973 in Ohio County. He was a Coal Miner for Pride Coal Company. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Delmar Shepherd; grandfather, Herman Shepherd; and grandmother, Dorothy Hines.

He is survived by his sisters, Kim (Gary) Weatherford, and Savannah (Richard) Naue; mother, Valley (Johnny) Hines Warren; father, Dean Shepherd; nephews, Josh and Devin Weatherford, and Isaac and Eli Naue; and niece, Hadlei Naue; and Mamaw, Vernadean Shepherd.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11AM at Rosehill Cemetery with Bro. Gary Hines officiating. Burial to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. The family asks that no flowers be sent.
