Drakesboro – Delores “Fritzie” Carroll, 78, of Drakesboro died Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at her home. Ms. Carroll was born August 19, 1948, in Louisville, KY. She worked at the Dollar General for over 20 years before retiring and becoming a homemaker, and a member of New Paradise Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with family, talking on the phone with her friends and playing puzzle games. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Helen Hayes; sisters, Wanda Marie Hubbard and Barbara Jo Hillard; brothers Billy Ray Hayes and James Owen Hayes.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Carroll; sons, Cliff Davis and Shaun (Christina) Carroll; granddaughter, Chasity Davis; and great-grandchildren, Abby and Eli Evans.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Drakesboro City Building from 5:00-7:00pm.  Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
