CENTRAL CITY – Della Mae Foster Arndell, age 93, of Central City died Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home. Della was born October 26, 1930, in Muhlenberg County and was a homemaker and member of Martwick Baptist Church. She enjoyed to shop, fish and spend time with her family. She made sure all her precious grandchildren and five generations of family received a birthday card and acknowledgement. She traveled to numerous states on the back of a motorcycle and enjoyed life so much. Della was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Foster and second husband, Thomas Arndell; son, Melvin Joe Foster; sister, Doris Mason; brother, Richard “Buddy” Mason; daughter-in-law, Linda Foster; parents, Melvin and Stella Mason.
She is survived by her daughters, Millie (Bill) Nelson of Beaver Dam and Julie (Dean) Fraze of Nelson Creek; grand-children, Tammy (Mike) Burden, Debbie (Jeff) Embry, Jimmy (Tracy) Fraze, Missy (Tim) Davis, Jill (Troy) Hobgood, Kim (Terry) Jacobs, JoJo (Lisa) Foster; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Jerry Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
