Rockport- Dawson Slaughter, 74. of Rockport, died October 06, 2018, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. Mr Slaughter was born August 06, 1944 in Todd County. He was a truck driver for Marvin Thompson Trucking Co.. He was preceded in death by his late wife Judy Slaughter. He is survived by his brothers Thurman Slaughter of Oklahoma, Thomas Dale Slaughter of Illinois, and Shelby Wayne Slaughter of Hodgenville; sister Darlene Oakley of Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 09, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Winford Burdenl officiating. Burial will be in Mud River Union Cemetery in Belton.
