CENTRAL CITY – David Alan Smith, 63, of Central City, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at 9:35PM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Smith was born May 13, 1951, in Jefferson County. He was a food service supervisor with the Federal Prison System, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his sisters, Carolyn Jones of Milton, FL, Barbara Burden of Central City, and Marilyn Vining of Emmett, ID; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, June 6, 2014, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with pastor Justin Latham officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
