CENTRAL CITY – David Lee Bruce, 73, of Central City died Friday, December 8, 2023 at 12:30PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Bruce was born June 24, 1950 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked for Ford. He loved Bluegrass music and played multiple instruments in a band called “Full House”. He enjoyed time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Bruce, and Ava Nell Bruce; sisters, Freda Neptune, and Patricia Kingsley; and brothers, Tommy Bruce, and Danny Bruce.

He is survived by his son, Tim Bruce of Evansville; daughter, Carol Bruce of Central City; grandchildren, Ashley Fleming, Elizabeth Edwards, Jordan Bruce, and Daniel Dukes; brothers, Don Bruce, and John Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
