CENTRAL CITY – David Jonathan Hawkins, 57, of Central City died Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Hawkins was born October 5, 1968 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Betty Hawkins; and siblings, Teresa Hawkins, Guy Hawkins, Eugene Hawkins, Jr., and Sheila Stinson.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hawkins; children, Josh Hawkins, David “Ronnie” Hawkins, and Nathan (Sylvia) Young; step-children, Danielle (Brian) Spencer, Nathan (Haley) Baker, Stephen Hunt, and Jesse LeGrand; grandchildren, Ezaray Young, Kyree Hawkins, Kaina Hawkins, Ivy Griffith,  Jaylen Hawkins, Brayson Hawkins, Alaiya Hawkins, Acey Spencer, and Cloey Spencer; siblings, Rick Gene Williams, Gary (Ramona) Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 17, 2025 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Terrence Minor officiating. Burial is private. Visitation will be Monday from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
