GREENVILLE – David Joines, 69, of Greenville, died Friday, June 7, 2019. After fighting the good fight, he finished the race. He was born on March 20, 1950, to Okley and Junie Joines of Beechmont. David, a retiree from SuperValu, was a truck driver for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed his time at Lake Malone with his wife, children, grandchildren, and many pets. He had a lifetime passion for classic cars. David is survived by his greatest joys – his wife, Sara; daughters Angela Phelps and Laura Kaylor; grandchildren Whitney (Jonathan) Haynes and Emily Phelps; and great-grandchildren Josie, Chloe, Maverick, Zoey (Haynes), Hudson and Harper (Snyder). Funeral services will be Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 3:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with David Brandon officiating. Visitation will be Sunday after 11:00AM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society, 952 Fairview Ave., Suite 4, Bowling Green, KY 42101, payable to RFL of Kentucky.
