SACRAMENTO – David Jewell Lile, 87, of Sacramento, died on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:54AM at his residence. Mr. Lile was born on October 2,1938 in Muhlenberg County. He owned and operated Dave’s Body Shop in Mt. Vernon, IN. He enjoyed old country music and fast cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Lile; son, David Jewell Lile, II; and sister, Linda Nell LeGrand.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Kay (Rockie) Gamblin, and Bonna (Richard) Lake; and brothers, Donnie (Connie) Lile, and James Earl Lile.
