CENTRAL CITY – David Irwin Spicer, 73, of Central City, died on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. Mr. Spicer was born on September 19, 1952 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of First Christian Church of Greenville, and worked as an Assistant Shift Supervisor for Kentucky Utilities. He volunteered for the Central City Fire Department for twenty years. Mr. Spicer was an avid UK Basketball fan. He enjoyed swimming and jet-skiing. He was a water safety instructor for the Red Cross and a Kentucky High School Basketball Referee. He played and was a manager for Central City High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Helen Spicer.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Wininger Spicer.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Mr. Paul Moore officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
