Graham – David Douglas Hollis, 82, of Graham, died Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:27p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Hollis was born May 4, 1944 in Madisonville, Kentucky. He was a maintenance worker for the coal mines, a navy veteran, and was a member of the Freedom General Baptist Church. David loved bass fishing, and was even a member of the Hopkins County Bass Club, but more than that was his love for his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Joyce Hollis; his parents, Liggett and Naomi Hollis; and his brother, Paul Hollis.
He is survived by his sons, Marty (Stephanie) Hollis, and Brian (Jackie) Hollis; his grandchildren, Drew Bratcher, Charlie Hollis, Maggie Hollis, Tea Hollis, Josh Hollis, and Amanda Hollis; his great grandchildren, Tyrston Hollis, Aryanna Hollis, Marcella Hollis, and Zada Hollis; his brother, Ronnie Hollis; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 12:00p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Tony Blake and Bro. Jeff Groves officiating. Burial in Freedom General Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
