SACRAMENTO – David Bartley Rainwaters, 55, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 3:53AM at his residence.  David was born January 9, 1969, in Calhoun.  He was a machine operator for Greenville Plastics Co., and a member of Cathedral of Hope Church.  David loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren.  His dogs Oreo and Piper always put a smile on his face.  He loved to watch Scooby Doo, especially with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar “Frosty” Rainwaters.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Rainwaters; children, Latasha Miller, Eugene (Leshia) Jones, and Teddy Piper; grandchildren, Bella Miller, Chance Miller, Jaden Miller, Addison Jones, and Emma Jones; mother, Doris Rainwaters; sister, Barbara (Todd) Whittinghill; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special neighbors, Brenda and Marvin Whitmer.
